Escalators and travolators are the ideal solution for vertical and horizontal transportation in high-traffic areas such as shopping malls, airports, offices, hotels, and hospitals. An escalator is a sloped system with moving steps typically at a 30–35° angle. A travolator, with a gentler incline of 8–12°, is used for horizontal movement in supermarkets, metro stations, and airport terminals.
